Zion uses a strengths-based approach to engage the residents and other stakeholders in doing transformational work in their neighborhoods. We build coalitions and collaborative teams to incorporate their ideas, experience, talents and other resources to build healthier communities.
The Community Mobilization Network (CMN) was established in 2011, and since then has represented south Phoenix in numerous initiatives impacting the community.

ENGAGEMENT
By taking a leadership role on community issues, Zion will get involved and bring its community partners to the table.
CONVENING
Zion convenes representatives from business, education, healthcare, legal, and other sectors to co-invest their social capital, such as knowledge, skills, and relationships into an issue.
MOBILIZATION
Zion identifies assets (in each individual stakeholder) and puts them into action for better solutions and more positive outcomes.
